Cloudbursting (in progress)

This project aims to create an environment in which natural formations such as clouds or puddles are intermixed with man-made objects such as exhaust fumes, car emissions, or fertilizer run off. Fabric screens are arranged so that the audience may walk through or around them. Sept 2010-Jan 2011.

Video Object Tracking

A cam-shift tracking algorithm was implemented for the final project of a digital image processing course (UMBC / Fall 2009).  The goal was to track an object for use as control input to a video processing system, that is as an interface to existing algorithms.  Region of interest is indicated by a red circle with the geometric average indicated by a blue cross.

untitled (Circuit)

Strips of fabric were hung from the ceiling of the Area 405 space. Video was then mapped on to them so as to add a depth to an otherwise two dimensional medium. The fabric was arranged in such a way to encourage contemplation about the space surrounding it. June 2009.
